How Therapy Can Help

Therapy combining a mixture of play, creative play, talking and cognitive work, offered in a safe, neutral environment, with a qualified practitioner can be really helpful for any child or young person (4-18 years) who is experiencing difficulties  - whether it's a mental health concern, behavioural difficulties (including ASD, SPD, ADHD, for example), exam stress or a problem relating to family, friends and/or school/college.

Specialist Therapy For Children

For all ages play is the most natural form of expression, but particularly for younger children, play and creative play is most often used to understand and communicate the child's thoughts and emotions. For older children, the therapy room offers a supportive, confidential space to explore their concerns, without judgement or criticism. The flexible nature of this type of therapy is suitable for children with special needs.
